Ida.Bell’s was born from love, legacy, and desire to keep a beautiful tradition alive.

Named after my late grandmother, Ida Bell Smith, this brand honors a woman who embodied grace, strength, and the spirit of a true Proverbs 31 woman. She was the heart of our family. She was steadfast, nurturing and full of quiet wisdom. Some of our most cherished memories are rooted in her shed, especially on Sundays, when my cousins and I would eagerly wait for her homemade churned ice cream. It wasn’t just dessert, it was comfort, connection and love in every scoop.

As I got older, my body no longer tolerated traditional dairy ice cream the way it once did. What used to bring joy began to bring discomfort. But letting go of that Sunday tradition didn’t feel like an option-it felt like losing her all over again. 

So I chose to recreate it.
